Carol and I spent 6 wonderful nights in a beach-front condo “vacation rental” in Imperial Beach, just south of San Diego and north of Mexico.<\/p>\n

We drove out April 30, and back home May 6.\u00a0 It’s an easy drive from Arizona City (halfway between Tucson and Phoenix, just south of Casa Grande), about six and a half hours.\u00a0 The eastern end of I-8 starts almost in our backyard, and ends out in San Diego – you just need to hop onto I-5 South to Imperial Beach near the western end.<\/p>\n
